CILT Schedule During the Year

There is a lot of work that needs to be accomplished during the year, and here are two big hints:

Rely on God!

Keep on top of it!

All year round, work on your CILT file, and activity specializations.

• Ask someone to be your CILT mentor, and email their name and address to the CILT Director.

• How to Lead a Camper to Christ
• Personal statement of what you believe about salvation… (see CILT II requirements)
• Testimony
• Read Presenting Jesus as Savior and Lord, and list at least seven principles of sharing Jesus with others.

• Bible Studies 1 & 2 (see p. 98-108)
• Teach one Bible Study, evaluate, and return the evaluation form (p. 95)

• Bible Studies 3 & 4 (see p. 98-108)
• Teach one Bible Study, evaluate, and return the evaluation form (p. 95)

• Bible Studies 5 & 6 (see p. 98-108)
• Teach one Bible Study, evaluate, and return the evaluation form (p. 95)
• CILT II Progress Report (p. 28)
• Complete First Aid / CPR certification (Send us a copy of your cards, or bring a copy to camp)

Remember, you are also entirely responsible, as a group, for planning the Trailblazer party for each week of camp. You'll need to bring everything you need for both weeks of the party - decorations, games, snack, craft,… (dig out those notes on planning a UEP!). You should have it all planned by March or April (easiest if you all get together sometime to plan). You are expected to send invitations to the Trailblazers a few weeks before camp. They love this! You are also asked to send an invitation to the director so that the staff will know a little about the party. A final suggestion is that you send a few blank invitations to the registrar so that if anyone registers late, she can send them an invitation.

We want you to be successful in this, your year as a CILT. We are serious about getting all of this work done; you have made a commitment. Please be sure that all work is completed and in the CILT director's mail box by the required day.
